It was fantastic to bring the AICE team together in person at our third consortium meeting in Athens.

Hosted by our partner, National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, in the historic History Museum of the University of Athens, this inspiring venue set the stage for two days of collaboration, insights, and planning.

With updates from all work packages, we shared exciting progress and mapped out our next steps, including:

  • Advancing algorithm validation now that we have access to NHS Highland data.
  • Moving forward on patient recruitment, app development, and PREM co-design.
  • Refining approaches on ethics, cost-efficiency modelling, and living guidelines.
  • Expanding our dissemination strategies and preparing for new publications to boost project visibility and outreach.

Thank you to everyone for the energy and insights that made these sessions so impactful.

Here’s to the exciting work ahead as we push forward in advancing colon cancer screening and diagnostics with AI!
